The army is of course a shooty army. One of the only Daemon armies that can reliably deal with horde mech forces. Plenty of shots to go around.
You have of course Fateweaver to make your army more survivable.
The troops units aren't great, but they should be sitting at 18" and firing not getting sucked into close combat.
That's what your Daemon Princes are for, same with the Screamers of Tzeentch.
The latter are of course sacrifice units, not meant to do anything but super speed in front of a threat and hold it there a turn. They have meltabombs, which are really only of much use against Land Raiders. You can kill most other vehicles with your other shooting.
All of your units (except the Screamers) can fire barrages of fire into enemy infantry.
Wave 1:
Fateweaver, 2 Heralds, 3 DP, 2 Flamers.
Wave 2:
5 Horrors, 2 Screamers.
Sit Kairos in the back, surrounded by the DP's; with the flamers nearby giving all of those units a cover save. You will sit at 18-24" as long as possible, shredding anything that comes near. If someone comes charging forward at you, counter with your mobile units (Screamers, Flamers) and get the 4 MC ready to countercharge.
This is a pretty good army, but playing it properly is difficult to say the least. The swing of extreme conservative play to near reckless play is very fast indeed.
Beware Grey Knights. They will ruin your day in a big way! :)

Just as an interesting alternative. This is my all comers 2k list. For old fluff nutters like me that can't let go of sacred numbers.

Well, let's think about that list for a minute. It loses a bit of survivability for essentially 2 more heralds...which considering fateweaver can fire the same thing...is really just one more bolt.
You also have several large units, so you will find yourself unable to fire a small unit at a single target and instead have to unload or use a Herald.
You also have no units you can really sacrifice, where my version has many you can sacrifice.
Lastly, while 3 flamers is nasty, they won't kill large enemy squads where 5 flamers will (talking about Orks and Gaunts mostly).
I tried the list, and found I didn't like it's long term prospects.
I like this 2k list a lot Stelek. I would love to use Fateweaver in a list but my local group only plays 1k or 1500 at a push.
In trying to fit him into a 1k list I have this...
Fateweaver.
Herald of tzeentch. Chariot. Bolt. Master of Sorcery. We are Legion.
Herald of tzeentch. Chariot. Bolt. Master of Sorcery. We are Legion.
3xFlamers
3xFlamers
5xHorrors. Changeling
5xHorrors. Bolt.
3xScreamers of Tzeentch.
I would really like to see what you would play at those point levels.
I wouldn't use Fateweaver. Ever.
That list has no CC, so I'd get some Fiends.
Q: (please excuse the dumb question but I have looked around at many places): Do Bolts of Tzeentch combined with We are Legion and Master of Sorcery get to fire twice in a round?
I think the answer is 'no', but this combo gets used so often I wanted to see if there is an FAQ ruling or something somewhere that I didn't know about...
Cover saves are useless in a tzeentch-only army, everyone has a 4+ invulnerable or better. Unless you want to go to ground, but then you can't shoot... so, useless.
No you can't fire twice as it clearly says you have to fire a different weapon unless otherwise allowed.
